2. What data we collect and why

Contact form

When you use our contact form, we process the data you enter: your name, email address and message, and optionally your phone number and country. We use this data only to answer your enquiry. The form sends your message through our website directly to our email inbox. To protect the form against spam and abuse, we temporarily store an anonymised (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the consent box.

Edible Balconies waiting list

If you join the waiting list, we process your email address to inform you about the launch of Edible Balconies and our crowdfunding campaign. Your email address is stored in a private list on our web server, which is not publicly accessible. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to info@ediblebalconies.com; we will then delete your address from the list.

If you write to us directly by email, we process the data contained in your message in order to reply to you.

Visiting the website

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus). When you visit this website, Hostinger automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time of access. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Fonts from third parties

To display our typography, this website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited) and Adobe Fonts (Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited). When a page loads, your browser connects to their servers and your IP address is transmitted to them. 4. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking tools.

5. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising purposes. Emails you send us are stored on the servers of our email provider, which processes them only on our behalf.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiries only as long as necessary to handle them and delete them at the latest 12 months after our last contact, unless legal obligations require us to keep them longer. Waiting list data is kept until you ask us to remove it or until the waiting list is closed.

7. Social media links

Our website links to Instagram and WhatsApp. These are simple links: no data is transmitted to these services until you click on them. After that, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
  • have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16);
  • have your data deleted (Art. 17);
  • restrict the processing of your data (Art. 18);
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
  • withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
